New Occupational Standards – Draft Versions

The Council now has available draft versions of the first nine of thirteen occupational standards to be developed through this project. Stakeholders are encouraged to review and comment on these standards. Feedback should be sent to Project Manager Dale Ross, at dross@supplychaincanada.org, or provided at a focus-group session as detailed above.

The other four standards to be written are for the following occupations. National Occupational Classification codes are included in brackets following each title.

Project Information

In the first phase of this project, the Council created 15 national occupational standards for the supply chain sector, with help from CSA Standards and through significant consultation with stakeholders. In this second phase of the project, the Working Group intends to write occupational standards for those of the 26 NOC codes that identify occupations within the sector that have not yet been profiled.

CSA Standards is working again with the Council in phase II of the project. Utilizing the best-practices approach developed in phase I, the Council will once more fast track the writing and validating of occupational standards.
