NATIONAL ACCREDITATION PROGRAM:

Introduction

Applicants are required to submit completed applications and application fees by one of the four annual application deadlines: February 1st, May 1st, August 1st, or November 1st.

CSCSC will notify applicants of accreditation decisions within eight weeks of the application deadline.

Where accreditation is not granted, the CSCSC will notify the applicant and provide a Recommended Areas for Improvement Report summarizing the areas requiring improvement and guidance on how to improve those areas.

Maintenance and Renewal

Proposed changes to the intended learning outcomes of an accredited course or program must be approved by CSCSC.

CSCSC will notify Providers of accredited courses and programs when CSCSC National Occupational Standards are revised and Providers must revise related accredited courses and programs within six months of receiving the notification.

Accreditation will expire after five years. To maintain accreditation, Providers must apply for renewal at least one application deadline prior to expiry.

Providers of accredited courses and programs must comply with the CSCSC NAP Policies and Procedures. Failure to comply will result in a withdrawal of the accreditation.

CSCSC Name and Logo Usage
